A full commercial refurbishment of a 500m² automotive dealership on Parramatta Road — shut down, stripped back, and rebuilt to flagship standard in four weeks flat.
Understanding the Client & Their Vision - When Morgan & Wacker came to us, they had a site, a brand, and a deadline that left no room for anything but precision. The brief was clear: take a raw commercial space on one of Sydney's busiest arterials and transform it into a dual-branded retail headquarters worthy of the Harley-Davidson name — without missing a single day of the programme.

The 500m² site needed to be subdivided into two distinct retail environments operating under one roof — a heavy-branded Harley-Davidson dealership on one side, and an MCA motorcycle shop on the other. Both required their own identity, their own atmosphere, and their own customer experience.
The challenge was making them feel cohesive as a building while remaining unmistakably separate as brands.

ZONE ONE
Harley-Davidson
Full brand spec fitout.
Heavy branded environment built to Harley-Davidson's exacting retail guidelines — industrial materiality, bold identity, bespoke feature elements.
ZONE TWO
MCA Motorcycle
Complementary retail fitout with its own distinct character — sharing the building but occupying its own clearly defined space and customer journey.
The project demanded a full commercial transformation from the ground up. Every surface, every ceiling, every fitting was either stripped out, rebuilt, or purpose-made for the space. Nothing was carried over from what was there before — this was a complete reset delivered under a four-week programme with zero tolerance for delay.

We had a highly complex automotive dealership project and the team delivered an exceptional result from start to finish. The project environment was extremely fluid and fast paced, with evolving requirements, tight timelines, and constant pressure to maintain momentum. What stood out most was the extraordinary effort the team put in to meet critical deadlines without ever compromising on quality. Their communication, adaptability and professionalism throughout the build were outstanding.
Scope of works
Full demolition & site prep
Complete strip-out of the existing space — clearing the site and preparing it for a ground-up commercial fitout.
Polished concrete flooring
Poured, ground, and polished throughout — a hardwearing, industrial-grade finish that anchors the Harley brand aesthetic.
Suspended ceiling — custom fabrication
A lowered suspended ceiling custom-fabricated to the space — shaping the volume, improving acoustics, and integrating the lighting system.
Full LED lighting design & install
Purpose-designed LED scheme — from ambient ceiling lighting to focused retail spotlighting — installed end-to-end as part of the fitout.
Bespoke joinery & retail shelving
Custom-designed and built joinery throughout both retail zones — purpose-made to meet Harley-Davidson's brand specification and MCA's retail requirements.
Interior painting & finishes
Full repaint and surface finishing across the entire 500m² — every wall, substrate, and architectural detail brought to brand standard.
Custom metalwork & mesh fabrication
Bespoke metal fabrication throughout — including the signature suspended Harley mesh feature installation that defines the brand zone.
Spatial subdivision — dual retail zones
The 500m² floor plate divided into two distinct branded environments — Harley-Davidson and MCA — each with their own identity and customer journey.Full demolition and site preparation
Four weeks. No exceptions.
The entire programme — demolition, structural work, custom fabrication, fitout, and finishes — had to be completed in 28 days. The site shut down on day one and had to be trading on day twenty-eight.
Evolving requirements mid-build
Requirements shifted as the project moved. The team had to absorb changes without losing momentum — adapting on the fly while protecting the programme and the quality of the outcome.
Heavy branded specification
Harley-Davidson's retail standards are exacting. Every element — materials, finishes, signage integration, spatial layout — had to meet the brand's global spec while being built to a local timeline.
Custom fabrication on a live programme
The suspended mesh feature and bespoke joinery couldn't be off-the-shelf. Custom fabrication had to be designed, manufactured, and installed within the same four-week window as everything else.
This integrated project management and construct approach reduces risk, controls cost, protects programme and ultimately delivers a superior end result.
The site opened on time. Every element of the brief was delivered — the dual retail zones, the polished concrete, the lowered suspended ceiling, the bespoke joinery, the LED lighting system, and the custom Harley feature installation. A 500m² commercial refurbishment, completed to flagship brand standard, in four weeks.
That's not luck. That's what happens when the team shuts the door and does the job
